The HQ of a Global streaming Giant, Netflix, required a refurbishment. ISW were appointed for works on three stairs across floors 1 – 7.
This stair is a great example of designing with a strong consideration for sustainability. With disassembly in mind, this staircase shows that even a large, commercial staircase can be attractive and still reusable. Through design, removal and transportation are made easier, reducing waste and optimising energy consumption in the future
Work carried out totalled 200 l/m Glass and aluminium channel sat in Cross Laminated Timber. After install, the stair was completed with manifestations to the glass and fitting of timber handrails.
